Club Description: NHS WISTEM is an inclusive club to empower individuals who identify as female to pursue STEM related post secondary education and career opportunities. This is the first year NHS will have a WISTEM club, so we are excited to work alongside students to make this club as inclusive and productive as possible. The club will include female scientists of the week, where we will learn about a historical female scientist, and a present female scientist, and their impacts in the world of STEM. The club will also include guest speakers of female NHS alumni who will talk to us about their experiences in their post secondary education. Prospective members can expect information about possible STEM post secondary programs, achieve an understanding of the history of women in STEM, and gain an encouraging network of fellow students with similar interests and goals.

Meeting Time: Exact date and time will be posted on Instagram and Google Classroom. Meetings will hopefully be in person every two weeks at lunch in a science classroom.
